Under the Health and Safety (Safety Signs and Signals) Regulations 1996, fire safety signs are an absolute requirement for your business or premises.

FIRE SIGNS TO
COVER ALL AREAS

Our fire safety signs and fire signs are crucial in helping to help provide fire prevention to your staff and visitors, and provide clear guidance so they know what to do in the event of an emergency. The Health and Safety (Safety Signs and Signals) Regulations 1996 details that signs are required where a fire risk exists which cannot be avoided or controlled by other means. All our products comply with BS5499 part 1:1990 which details the exact graphics that must be used.

Our Fire Signs:

· FIRE EXTINGUISHER SIGNS

Fire extinguisher signs relate to equipment and indicate the location and type of extinguisher present. This type of sign must be red under health and safety law.  These signs explain whether the extinguisher is foam, dry, water or carbon dioxide and how to use them.

· FIRE EXIT SIGNS

Fire exit signs (or sometimes labelled Emergency Fire Exit Signs) are designed to clearly indicate the direction of an exit in the event of a fire or other emergency that requires a quick exit from a building. Fire exit signs are a key part of health and safety in the workplace and must be identified by law. Current legislation states that a fire exit location must be clearly marked with a fire exit sign, the vision of such a sign and exit be kept free of all obstructions, and the sign to be compliant with British standards and safety legislation.
